Self Care during Covid-19

During the last couple of weeks, there have been a lot of changes in our lives and a lot of new information we have had to process. Families are having to deal with school closures and many are facing a decrease in income as businesses shut down during this period. With these changes, it's now even more important to remain mindful about self care.
The CDC has posted a great article about how to cope with anxiety and stress during this time and I have included the link below. I particularly liked the following points it offered:
1. It provides the signs of stress and what you can do to take care of yourself and those you love.
2. It points out that every one tolerates and deals with stress differently. Be aware of what your stress level is and how you're coping with it.
3. It encourages us to talk about it-- more specifically it's okay to share information about Covid-19 with children and others. But please be sure it's accurate information.
4. It reminds us to take a break from the media coverage of Covid-19. Binge watch that series that's been sitting in your Netflix Watch List for the past year, or go take your dog for a walk (keeping a discrete social distance from others).
I hope you find the article helpful!
